Sei Arimitsu (played by Hiroaki Ito) is a chief researcher for the Neo Genesis company in the United States. Neo Genesis has dispatched him to Rakuhoku University in Tokyo, where he is involved in virus research. Sei was brought up as an ordinary young child by his mother, Hisako Arisue (Nene Otsuka). But the truth is that he is a genius with amazing abilities physically and intellectually, born out of research into genetic enhancement.Sei comes across his amiable identical-twin brother, Rin Amemiya (also played by Hiroaki Ito), who loves Sei.
